We want you to help us petition TWRA to bring hybrid and/or striped bass to Nickajack reservoir. Chattanooga’s home waters have long been overlooked for striped bass stocking practices in the TN valley. Anglers (us included) love targeting these species in other TN waters, but our local Nickajack populations (between Chickamauga dam and Nickajack dam) only receive small amounts of these hard-fighting fish when they spill through the dams, making the opportunity to catch them limited/marginal at best. Stocking practices would create a fun, healthy fishery and bolster the region’s local fishing community and guiding Industry.
